It all started with a simple question: if we already create fashion with meaning, purpose, and quality as a social fashion label, why not take the final step and produce our most exclusive pieces directly in Germany?

Stay close to the product

With Atelier 1C1Y, we have done exactly that. We collaborate with a highly skilled atelier in southern Germany that specializes in traditional craftsmanship and fair, ethical production. Here, our limited-edition designs come to life in small batches, crafted by experienced artisans with a strong focus on quality.

We deliberately stay close to the product: each fabric is carefully selected, prototypes are tested, fits are refined, and every detail is perfected before production. This direct connection to the material and the skilled craftspeople behind it represents our respect for slow fashion, quality, and the people involved in making these clothes.

Producing in Germany offers many advantages: short transport routes, high environmental standards, fair working conditions, and a shared culture of quality and precision. It allows us to deliver sustainable fashion with timeless, minimalist design and to keep our environmental impact as low as possible.

Atelier 1C1Y is also a stage for young creative talent. Designer Lasse Kruschwitz, who is now stepping into the spotlight after working as an assistant to Bernd Keller, shapes this collection with new perspectives, artistic details, and fresh inspiration.
