Who we are — and what makes us different
We are 1C1Y, a German Fashion Start-Up born from a simple but powerful idea: Fashion can do more than look good — it can do good.
Three years ago, our story began with a black T-shirt created by our partner NGO ARTHELPS. Every shirt funded a year of creative education for a child in South Africa. That idea brought together our team of designers, photographers, and architects to start something new: the world’s first Social Fashion Luxury Label.
We combine timeless fashion, Italian chic, elegant streetwear, and smart casual essentials — but what truly sets us apart is the social impact behind every item.
What we stand for
At 1C1Y, we believe in fashion with purpose. Every item you buy funds a creative workshop for a child in need, offering hope, education, and new perspectives. (Hence the name '1 Child 1 Year'). Social Fashion means creating beautiful, long-lasting pieces with a clear conscience.

2022
Foundation
In 2022 we started our Social Fashion with the first drop of our permanent collection designed by Bernd Keller - sustainable and inspired by italian chic & streetwear.
2023
Workers of Hope
In 2023 we launched our second drop where Avantgarde fashion meet the wardrobe of a summer night in Florence. This year we are also found our first retail partners.
2024
Bringing Hope to Iraq
In 2024 we had the privilege to launch our very first 1C1Y x Art Helps project. Near a refugee camp in Iraq we started to train & sponsor local teachers, who will host creative workshops for local children.
This is all thanks to the thousands of Euros collected by people who wear our Social Fashion.
